History of Faith Journey

• 2001 - Michael & Downs feels God's call to start a church in the Olathe marketplace to reach hurting people.
• 2002 - Michael and core team begin to meet in homes and plan.
• 2003, September 14th - Kick-off Sunday!  Faith Journey opens its doors to Olathe in the Dickenson 16 theatres of the Great Mall.
• 2005, May 1st - Faith Journey moves down the road to a beautiful facility in the Ball Conference Center.
• 2006 - Faith Journey continues to make a name for itself with reoccurring city-wide Easter Egg Hunts and 4th of July concerts.
• 2007 Summer - Wonderful opportunity opens for Faith Journey to begin renting a retail space in the Great Mall, giving them an unprecedented 7-day-a-week opportunity to serve in the Marketplace.
• 2007 Fall - Work has now started on the new space in the mall!
• 2008 - Come and see what God has in store for Faith Journey
